Administrative Assistant - Part Time Position

Our company has an outstanding opportunity for a results-focused, highly driven and experienced Administrative Assistant. The Administrative Assistant will execute administrative policies determined by or in conjunction with executives by performing the following responsibilities.  

  • JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Composes routine correspondences including notices, minutes, resolutions, memos, confidential correspondences, reports, and other documents
    • Prepare work to be accomplished by gathering and sorting documents and related information.
    • Pay invoices by verifying transaction information; scheduling and preparing disbursements; obtaining authorization of payment.
    • Obtain revenue by verifying transaction information; computing charges and refunds; preparing and mailing invoices; identifying delinquent accounts and insufficient payments.
    • Collect revenue by reminding delinquent accounts; notifying customers of insufficient payments.
    • Maintain accounting ledgers by posting account transactions.
    • Verifies accounts by reconciling statements and transactions.
    • Resolves account discrepancies by investigating documentation; issuing stop payments, payments, or adjustments.
    • Maintains financial security by following internal accounting controls.
    • Maintain financial historical records by filing accounting documents.
    • Screens Manager’s incoming telephone calls and incoming correspondences
    • Arranges travel plans and itineraries; compiles documents for travel related meetings
    • Updates client records as needed

     

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
